President Siljanovska-Davkova meets OSCE Ambassador Wahl
- President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova met Wednesday with Ambassador Kilian Wahl, head of the OSCE Mission to Skopje.

Skopje, 12 February 2025 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova met Wednesday with Ambassador Kilian Wahl, head of the OSCE Mission to Skopje.
At the meeting, Wahl presented the Mission’s planned activities for 2025 to the President, highlighting the rule of law, basic human rights and social cohesion, good governance, youth policies and gender equality as priority areas.
The President spoke about the new Security Council, Youth Council, Pardoning Commission and the Commission on Awarding Decorations and Recognitions, noting that when nominating members for these bodies she focused on competency, expertise and integrity, without overlooking fair and appropriate representations, as well as gender.
“Siljanovska-Davkova presented the successful work of the bodies so far and opportunities for mutual cooperation,” the President’s Office said in a press release.
Interlocutors also spoke about the amendments to the Electoral Code in line with the recommendations of OSCE/ODIHR and the Venice Commission, stressing the importance for the amendments to enter parliamentary procedure as soon as possible.
The President and the Ambassador also exchanged opinions and agreed on the model and formal of marking March 8 – International Women’s Day.
The meeting, according to the press release, concluded with a voiced readiness to organize joint activities.
